What Will You See At the History of Medicine and Health Exhibit?

The LITA Mobile Health and Medicine History Museum takes you on a portion of America’s journey through the development of emergency medical care and disaster medical response. The exhibit is available for viewing in the library's Round Room today and tomorrow from 10:00 am until 6:30 pm.

 As of May of 2019, the mobile museum boasted artifacts and pieces from as far back into history as 1640 with some native American medicine pieces.  The museum's scope follows medical history in America through 1965 and the birth of what is now Emergency Medical Services.
