The library will be closed for remodeling two weeks in December but, before we close, check-out these great programs offered to adults this November and into December.
The Book To Movie Club is reading Secret Agent: A Simple Tale by Joseph Conrad. Published in 1907, the book is in 1886 London and deals with Mr. Adolf Verloc and his wife's discovery that Verloc is an agent terrorist. The film version of the novel, Sabotage, by Alfred Hitchcock, is a 1936 British espionage film. This is one of Hitchcock's earlier films when he was working in England. Due to the library closing for two weeks in December, we will watch Sabotage the first week in December.
Get ready to celebrate the Grand Meander at Spencer Public Library. We will have crafts, cookies, and a cocoa bar for kids and adults. Use your adult coloring skills to make festive bookmarks for our homebound patrons, and keep one for yourself! We will see everyone after the remodel! Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season.
