us for our second year of Pushing the
Limits programming with the book, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind by
William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer. This is a true story
about an enterprising teenager in Malawi who builds a windmill from scraps he
finds around his village and brings electricity, and a future, to his family. We
will be pulling science from this book and focus on themes such as transformation
and wind power. Dinner will be provided.
