Northwest Passage–
Escape the Ordinary with adventurer, photographer, and speaker, David Thoreson,
as he discusses his three separate journeys sailing to the Northwest Passage. From
Okoboji, but nationally known, David brings wonderful stories and images from a

watching the movie, “Like Water for Chocolate”. A Mexican movie subtitled in
English about a young woman, bound by family tradition where the youngest
daughter remains unwed to care for her elderly parents, finds release in the
