Tween Book Club will be starting up in late January, and we'll be reading, discussing,
and doing activities related to the story Matilda by Roald Dahl.

The book description reads, "Matilda is a sweet, exceptional young girl, but her parents think she's just a nuisance. She expects school to be different, but there she has to face Miss Trunchbull, a kid-hating terror of a headmistress. When Matilda is attacked by the Trunchbull, she
suddenly discovers she has a remarkable power with which to fight back. It'll take a superhuman genius to give Miss Trunchbull what she deserves, and Matilda may be just the one to do it!"

The group is open to kids in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Each participant will receive a
copy of the book to read and keep when we're done. Our first meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 20th from 4-5pm. I ask that participants please register by
Wednesday, January 14th to ensure we have enough books and material for everyone.
